Hi @g1984 , asking the real questions here :) In my personal view and the views of some of all those Professors, Aspirants, Educators and even some Bankers, giving talks on Block Chain technology, this could be the next industrial revolution, the one thing that gives power back in the hands of every participant and could potentially overturn the established institutions.
Steemit is just such an example , what the power of community can do and how one common idea gives value.
Its really fascinating to see and to maybe be a part of the next revolution!
@g1984 While I understand your argument, I think that a lot of things can approached as a ponzi scheme with the same logic: fiat, government,... the fact that I can already make a lot of purchases with bitcoin assures me that bitcoin is safe. that being said many other alt coins are completely different stories
