I have seen a lot of media saying that men who commit polygamy are acts that demean women.
discussing about this, we are discussing Islam. because Islam is the only religion that allows men to have more than one wife. what do you think about this.

in my opinion, doing polygamy is not degrading the woman's degree but instead raising the degree of women. I give a logical reason why men are allowed to marry more than one wife. before I give a logical reason, let's look at the verse in the Qur'an about polygamy.

"Then marry (other) women you like; two, three or four. Then if you are afraid you will not be able to be fair, then (marry) just one. "[QS. An-Nisa ': 3].

the Qur'an says if a man cannot be fair to each of his wives, then marry only one. meaning marrying more than one woman is not mandatory. this is sunnah. Sunnah means that if it is done it will get a reward from God, if it is not done it is not sinful. this is up to your choice.

Now let's see the logical reason. as we know in all countries there are more women than men. why are women more than men? every day men experience more deaths than women. caused by traffic accidents, drugs, war, caused by illness, smoking, alcohol, and others. even at the age of the baby if you ask the obstetrician about the baby's immune system, they will say that the baby girl is stronger than the baby's immune system. so that more male babies experience death than women. I will tell you what the immune system is. the immune system is a temeng for the body so that the disease does not easily enter. because male babies have a weak immune system, various diseases will easily enter so that male babies more often experience death than baby girls.

As I said above, because the statistics of women are more than men, they are allowed to marry more than one wife. and if I agree that men can marry one wife, of course there will be many women who don't get a husband. in this case if a woman does not get a life partner, it will cause a high risk of night butterflies. You certainly understand what a night butterfly is.
