Ben Swann Is Back With 4 Part Report On America's Broken Tax System

in #politics7 years ago

Ben Swann caused quite the stir after he removed all of his social media accounts following a controversial report not long ago that he released covering the Pizzagate scandal. For those interested in Swann's work, they'll be glad to know that he is still doing his investigative reporting.

And he has released a 4 part video series via The Mind Unleashed, covering the broken tax system in the U.S.

Ben Swann discusses in his report, which was filmed last year, how the tax system is hurting low income Americans.

Many people maintain that the U.S. tax system is broken and that it needs to be fixed, but Swann argues that the system isn't broken and it's instead working exactly how those in power want the system to work.

“The wealthiest of Americans have used lobbyists, lawyers, and politicians, to craft a system that protects them" he says, but it victimizes the rest of us.

It's a bit aggravating that on the one hand these wealthy individuals will publicly applaud and promote the idea of taxation, only to be well aware that they themselves are going to escape paying in the same way that others are who are less wealthy than them. So what are we to think of Mr. X when he says "taxes are great" "tax everybody more"... knowing full well that he is going to avoid himself being a target of his policy.

Don't expect everyone else to pay for an idea that you don't even think is a good one. An honest and ethical system of management should be funded voluntarily.

Swann insists that the tax system is designed only to benefit a few. The lower and the middle classes are "getting hammered by the tax system" Swann says, in ways that we might not even consider.

Americans, he argues in his report, are being taxed to pay into a system that is well on its way to becoming insolvent, the program funding will eventually run dry.

When all taxes are considered, the rich do not pay a disproportionately fair amount of taxes, Swann insists, contrary to the popular belief. It's thanks to payroll taxes, local and state taxes, that middle and low income families are paying dollar-for-dollar an equal share of the tax burden. But what is not equal is the percentage of income that is paid, says Swann, as the lower and middle income families are seen to be paying a much higher percent of their total income.

At the end of this month, Swann is also expected to conduct an interview with The Conscious Resistance Network .

Thank you for posting this!

Good point... broken is definitely not the same as rigged. The former an accident, the latter on purpose.

Great, Ben Swann always engaged news at the core and in a serious manner. I'm glad he is back and thank you for your links. I totally missed it.

Taxation is theft either way, whether it's the rich that get taxed or poor it doesn't matter.

What does matter is if the rich gets only a 1-2% tax, while others have to pay 90% taxes. Now that is immoral.

While making people pay for bullshit government programs, and wars, meanwhile they don't pay for it, but they advocate it.

So they want others to pay for stuff, but not themselves, at a gunpoint. Now that is immoral.

Either everybody is taxed, or nobody is taxed, you can't have loopholes.

I say nobody should be taxed, certainly the income tax has to be abolished.

Exactly. Taxation is theft and beside, it goes even further than that. If you tax the rich, it hurts the poor, because they can't produce as much and employ more people and pay them higher wages as they compete in the market. Taxes cripple the poor and innovation.
All taxes must be abolished and we much fund things voluntarily.

Some day! Let's all cross out fingers and keep educating! ;) haha

hahaha, indeed.

It was designed broken this way, is what I tell people, to benefit those in power at the expense of the masses who pay the freight, I echo what I say above in my comments.

Well shit, somebody's got to ask about his pizzagate episode and his 4 months (?) absence.

Where has he been?

Does he have any memory of his PG episode? Maybe they took him to the same hospital as Kanye

lol! hopefully he touches on that in the upcoming interview

Something tells me he hasn't been investigating taxes for 4 months, c'mon.

When Dave Chappelle walked away from $50 million and took off to Africa for a few months he didn't just appear back on Comedy Central like nothing happened. Ok, maybe not the best comparison but you get my point.

Exactly what I keep reminding people of. Over the years in my policy work and activism, the phrase I use with state sponsored lies is this.

It was DESIGNED broken to benefit those in power and harm the general population that pays the freight.
