I'd written articles about him since coming to Steemit in July as perhaps one of the last truly legit journalists. I wrote this because, his articles did not tell you WHAT YOU SHOULD THINK. They simply presented facts that could be found and he encouraged you to make up your own mind and research it yourself. They were not opinion pieces like 99% of the so-called news today.

He had a habit of challenging some controversial topics. As a news anchor on a local FOX channel he coined the show term "Reality Check". This was popular. He would eventually leave FOX and become an Anchor at CBS 46 in Atlanta, Georgia.
He also had his own website called truthinmedia.com. He would crowd source big investigative research and make documentaries about them. They were quite good and extremely informative.

He would talk about things such as:

• Big Pharmaceutical Companies and the revolving door with the government and the agencies that are supposed to oversee and monitor them.
• Cannabis for medicinal purposes, and the false claims which he proved showing patents by the government for making things such as CBD Oil a schedule 1 drug (*see the bullet point above*)
• I am sure he touched on some 9/11 stuff in the past.
• He also touched on controversy in numerous presidential elections.
• He would point out problems with bills being pushed through congress.
• He would talk about Black Lives Matter related issues.
• He would talk about Terrorist related issues.

He seemed to be fine with this and kept going on about it.

Then one day he posted a Reality Check on #pizzagate. He didn't say Pizzagate is true. He pointed out how some things in the Pizzagate movement actually seemed to correspond to the FBIs own training manuals for identification of pedophiles. Ben didn't say it was true that this was the case. He noted that there had been no official investigation into this. Instead people have simply been saying "it is not true, and is fake news" without a single actual investigation occurring. He showed that there was enough indicators out there that some investigation should occur to find out if there was any truth to the situation or not. This seems responsible to me. It is a lot more responsible than saying something is not true and is fake when there hasn't even been an investigation to prove that.

Gone

The Pizzagate Reality Check was pulled fairly quickly after it aired. Another steemit user covered it here, and then a couple of days later it was gone. It has been preserved by other people and can be found all over the place now. I think they call that the Streisand effect.

Then Ben announced he was going to go dark soon and made several Tzu day references which people thought might be code for Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" and he told people to Trust Him.

Not long after that truthinmedia.com and all its videos were gone, his youtube videos were all deleted, his twitter account was deleted, and his facebook page was deleted. This occurred a couple of months ago.

Those that have followed him for years and considered him one of the best journalists out there have been concerned. I post a similar post to this every so often with an up date. Before I post anything I look for any sign of activity from him.

The only activity we've seen was a brief clip right after this occurred of him at CBS 46. He is still listed as employed there, but there is no proof of activity. At this point even that brief clip might be questionable.

So the question is where is Ben Swann? What happened to him? In many places people say "they got to him", or that he has been "taken somewhere for extra rendition". Depending upon who is saying it they will of course cast the blame at different actors. As far as I can tell it is all speculation.

The concerning thing is I cannot find any activity from him for months. I cannot give you any reason for this to be the case. It is concerning.

It has had the Streisand effect on me. I was one of those waiting for some real investigation into Pizzagate, but I was not speculating about the truth. I was more a spectator. The fact that this ONE video where he didn't actually accuse anyone and simply called for an investigation was sufficient to SCRUB him from the internet makes me believe there must be something to this Pizzagate situation.

It was something that concerned them more than his exposing collusion and corruption all over the place...

Apparently the thing you don't talk about is Pizzagate. You can talk about other things. Talk about that though and you might get disappeared and wiped from history. A modern day book burning, and censorship spree.

So if any of you happen to hear something from Ben Swann please post something. I am one of those very interested. I hope he is okay and that he comes back with some explosive new information on ANYTHING he wants to talk about.

EDIT - Just to give you an impression of things Ben Swann would cover prior to this. I am going to look at my old steemit posts from before the Pizzagate issue and I'll share some of my titles... or perhaps the keywords in the URL for the Ben Swann documents that are no longer available. He could cover these things and not be silenced. Pizzagate was the straw that broke the camel's back.
