Why do we elect a new President ?

It is a bad habit, like smoking. You cannot quite even if you know it is bad for your health.

The two main rôles of the state is to protect the citizens and to educate the children. The army and the education are the two biggest expenses for the budget of democraties.

The best way to protect the citizen are :

• To develop renewable energy to prevent the war for oil.
• To give a decent income to every body to prevent burglary.

The money spent for the war for oil in Irak could have been used to equip the country with 100 % renewable energy.
What is the cost of the war in Irak and Syria ?

The work needed to feed the people and build decent houses can be performed by a small percent of the population, then the others should be paid to do what they want to ( blogging on Steemit, gardening, traveling, building fancy home..) A new software is available to distribute a fair income to everybody.

So wars should not longer be a problem, there are enough resources for everybody and we know how to dispatch them.

Education is free. There are enough educational resources on the internet to educate everybody, just provide every child with a tablet or a PC. Only stupid employer will request a degree from an expensive university in the future. Paying for an expensive university is a proof of a weak understanding.

So what do we elect a new President ? Who is deciding that we should ? The constitution. Did anything have been changing since the constitution has been written ?
