SPU Poetry Contest #1: Results!
Great Response
I want to start off by thanking everyone who participated in the SPU Poetry Contest #1. We had around thirty entries, which was more than we anticipated! This made it quite difficult for us to judge; there were a lot of great entries. Undoubtedly, there are great poems who have not ended up on the winning list; in the end, it's a competition.
May I remind everyone, that the prizepool had been increased to 7-3-1 thanks to a 6SBD donation by @angelveselinov. For the second contest (which will be announced in the upcoming days), @walkingkeys has been generous to send out 1SBD to help with the prizepool.

Awesome Work Everyone. I love you all for this great contest and efforts everyone had put in... Just so many amazing entries. I am sure that even if you are not between the winners you feel like you already gained something from the contest :) Keep up the great work Jeremy and the whole Poets United team. this is amazing news - you really made my day - and in fact this was the highlight of the month for me and i was feeling pretty low last week being sick. so much better now, mind body and soul all cheering along :)

I'm sorry that you had a rough week/month, and I'm glad that you're doing better now. You could thank me all you want, but you did put a lot of effort in this poem and you deserve the win - so really, thank yourself ;) Even when you had a rough time, you pushed through and wrote something great - that is commendable!
