Nature’s Call : An Original Poem

in #poetry8 years ago (edited)

The whispers of the wind
Carry the seeds of hope
When fall on fertile ground
Flowers blossom, plants and trees sprout

The pitter patter of the rain
Bring water that quench our thirst
And nourish our soil
Leaving a rainbow as its work is done

The roaring of the waves
Tell stories of adventure and mystery
Of the land under the water
And the creatures inhabiting the sea

The clash of the thunder
Is a warning for all
For if nature is angered
Nothing can hold it back

For the call of nature
Can be serene and sweet
If we humans co-exist
Obeying harmoniously the laws of nature

nice poem :)

Thanks for your compliments

This poem speaks on some very important themes. We have so much to give to this world, yet by human nature we take from the world more than we give. Nature itself is a moving force of life and death and we must respect it so. Let us indeed live peacefully amongst ourselves and appreciate all that life has to offer as it blossoms before us. Really nice poem. Thanks for sharing. Upvoted
