Of Minnows, Dolphins And Whales
The Steemit ecosystem has been created
For minnows, dolphins and whales
The three species need to co-exist
For the future of Steemit to be strong and bright
But things are not what it seems
Does the reality reflect the ideal
No ecosystem can always be fair
Neither can all of its weakness be rectified
For whales exert much power and influence
But minnows have strength in their numbers
Dolphins get squeezed in between
With all three involved in power struggles
For the Steemit ecosystem to succeed
Behavior of the whales has to be regulated
The voice of the minnows needs to be heard
And dolphins to be nurtured
For greed should not rule the ecosystem
There is enough to sustain the whales, dolphins and minnows
A level playing field in place
Would make Steemit the ecosystem of the future

Any tips to share on how to move to the next level? It's also a good idea for an article.
Are you arguing for equality of outcome or equality of opportunity? How do you recommend a whale be "regulated"? How do you define "fair"? If one person can invest more than another, can that still be considered fair?
I am not an expert on Steemit, but as far as I can observe, the opportunities seems to be equal. Therefore I would like to see more equality of outcome. At the same time, we begin at different starting points, some who have more time to invest while others may have more money to invest. But the opportunities should be fair regardless of where your starting point is. It would also be interesting to hear your take on this matter @lukestokes
