Fear (An Original Poem)
Fear
I feel like my skin
has started to shed.
The world's a sham
and rain's acid.
People who love die.
People who kill survive.
If fear drives you.
Shouldn't fear kill you?
Love kills we say.
Alas, for some that's
not a metaphorical representation
of the emotional turmoil.
For some that's the
fear of living everyday as
themselves and a fear
of true, physical, vehement violence.
If you're afraid of
love finding it's way
into the hearts of every soul,
you've lost your
own along the way.
