Poetry - Oh walking Angel

Oh walking angel
break free of your chains
discover your wings asleep
for touching the clouds again.

Feel the winds of faith
warm your every feather
give you the spirit strength
to arise up to heavens.
Awake with the dawn
warm invitation to live,
finish already the grief
from the pain of your fall.

Listen the song of the mounts
you used to look down
invite you to cross them
to take your place in sky.
Let memories of yesterday
warm your being once more
‘cause you were created to fly
immortal soul, divine heart.

Go back to the painted sunsets
where the moon shows her glow
to the beautiful pearly gardens
where winds are colorful;
above the tears of the sky
guarded by thousands stars
where death cannot conquer
and happiness can last.

Oh walking angel
what caused your fall?
you were given the necessary
and yet you raised no flight;
does the sun blinded you?
Did you mistake the winds?
Dissatisfaction of the heart
what you really wanted to be.

Faith, humility and trust
let go the pride that keeps you
what you think your hand holds
perish in a winter draft;
countless sunrises, many sunsets
the fall will not forever last
if you let winter to arrive
you’ll end with a frozen heart.

Oh walking angel
spread your wings again
rise one more time
preserve forever the grace:
above crying and sorrow
resentment and hatred
over sin, your chains
And the bonds of fear
be free by obedience
feel courage resuscitate…

by love, the gift of flight
by love, can have it back
no more gifts shall be granted
to one who has countless.
Free of doubt, not looking back
contrite soul taking flight
Hurry up to your father’s home
be welcomed in Heaven’s arms.
