Art for Saving Souls - Composition and Poetry - Ophir Gold Man

There are many ways to awaken the human spirit, to remind it of courage, to make it feel and to encourage it to fight. With the firm intention of contribute with the fight against feelings, emotions and negative situations that a person can live, art was used. Art to prevent a person from taking his own life, art to remember him how great it can be to live it. What I share today is my contribution in that fight of a person against himself. All those who know him made great efforts to prevent him from taking his own life and even though there were many attemps, we finally broke his isolation and made him react.

These small works were part of that joint effort to remind him of his own value seen through the eyes of the people part of his life. Leaving this world at will does not solve anything, isolating oneself in problems and sorrows either. Beyond this life, we ​​are still us and we continue to feel what we carry here. Taking your life doesn't offer a solution. In times like this it's good to remember our own value and keep those who love us very, very close.

Ophir Gold Man

You are an autumn sunset
full of golden rays
deliver us pearly gardens
in the clouds to contemplate.

You are a hidden smile
shy for facing the world
but each time is hold
it just goes brighter.

You are a song of the heart
the natural sound so pure
that manages its way through
for us to be enchanted.

You are a foreign nation
a unique culture
that takes years to learn
but minutes to love.

You are a Canary bird
in an open door cage
some don’t like your feathers
but your voice blows them away.

You are the silver coin
given freely to the needy
doesn’t matter the hand
or if gratitude is given

You are a homey meal
full of taste and flavor
that takes us back in time
to relive lots of memories.

You are a piece of coal
deep down life’s mines
that under all that pressure
doesn’t succumb, it diamantizes.

You are elf blood
forgotten human legacy
that makes you love nature
and find all its beauty.

You are an amazing book
worth the time reading
so many lessons inside you
we just want to keep finding.

You are the purest gold
from Ophir, a distant land
purified by adversity flames
presented as a piece of art.
