Inner Strength, Inner Power and Endurement

This set of poems is all about you as an individual. These stories are about the strength and power we all have within ourselves. You were born to be great. Believe this. You are a miracle of life. It is the choices we make in life that keep us from achieving this goal of greatness. It is the way we choose to live that prevents us from achieving our goals we have set for ourselves.
You are the power that will make this world great. You are the voice of reason that will change the world for the better. You are the spirit within that will lift others into the beautiful sky of success. You are the heart that will renew love for all on great mother earth. You, only you. One person at a time. One spirit at a time. This is when the “chain reaction” will set in and go global.
They say that “one person can’t make a difference so why try”. This is the true form of giving up. This is the true form of losing faith. This is the true form of disconnecting yourself from the magnificent universe. This is what the governments of the world want you to believe. This is why the world is breaking into pieces. To many have fallen into this gloom of doom. But I tell you this day. “It is not your fault. There is another power fighting to keep it this way”.
But I also say this “We, as one people, as one united nation, as one spirit, can change the world if we come together and show the true strength we really have.” But it must begin within one's self. We have to believe in ourselves first. This is where the change for the better will begin. This is where the true power lies. This first poem is about the struggles of life and how many live today. But, there is a voice inside us all telling us to be strong. Encouraging us to move forward. Helping us to believe in ourself. But we must listen. Then and only then, can the transformation begin. This is entitled “Another Soldier” by Jeronimo Rubio. I hope all of you enjoy it.

“Another Soldier”
Wake before the break of dawn,
In a mirror I see my face.
Lines cut through my once young skin,
Working at a quickened pace.
A magical path that I once knew,
When I was little and growing up.
Now 40+ hours are beating me down,
Tears of frustration now fill my cup.
Routines in a matrix setting,
Red pill, Blue pill, which to take?
Walking mindless robot unit,
Stuck In society’s mind controlling lake.
Falling deeper into the madness,
Slowly drifting far into despair.
Losing ground with every step taken,
Into the devils evil demons lair.
This is not the path you’ve chosen,
You have been lead into this doom.
In a box without a window,
Captured in this padded room.
But wait, a voice, so bright and wondrous,
Calls out through the blowing wind.
Beckoning you to stand up straight,
For now your true journey will begin.
A new bright light does now shine clearly,
Within your eyes and in your soul.
Waking up your inner power,
Helping you to bare your load.
Rise up now and make your way,
Stand up now and take your place.
You are strong, now time to show it,
Another soldier to protect the human race.

This next poem is about the power of one. One voice, one heart, one song, one spirit and so on. You must believe that “the power of one will always become two. The power of two will always become four. And this can happen through infinity.”
For it takes one to gather the wood and one to start the fire. This is when everyone will enjoy the warmth and comfort it brings. We all have the power of one within us. We must let this power show. Shine like a bright star in the sky at night. Explode like a great volcano onto this earth. Move like a great wave across the sea. We have the power to do this within us all. And it is time we all stood up and made a stand for the greater good of all.
You’ve heard the term “rise to the occasion”??? Well, it is time to rise and stand strong against those who would oppress us. Who would come against us. Who would try to keep us down and in our place. Keep us locked up in a cage like a spiritless bird.
This next poem is entitled “Within”. I hope you enjoy it.

“Within”
Within one song a blessed moment begins.
Within one tree a forest will forever grow.
Within one smile a friendship will start,
Within one star a guided light will show.
Within one voice a community will build,
Within one vote a world can change.
Within one laugh a sadness can be broken,
Within one decision a life can be rearranged.
Within one word a goal can be achieved,
Within one heart a love can be renewed.
Within one breathe a life can be reborn.
Within one life a world can gain new view.
With every brand new day, a new life can begin,
A new soul can be saved, a new goal can be completed.
A Community can be built, A brand new love can start,
A new vision can be seen, A new heart will be seeded.
It all begins with you. It all begins within.
It all begins right now. Don’t spread your love to thin.
Show it to the world. Spread it every where.
Show the world your love. Show them how much you care.
Be a shining example. For both the young and old.
Show them who you are. An ancient power of old.
Love your self today. And all the world will see.
That through our inner love. The world can be set free.

So now we have reached the end of the stories and this poem is about you and all that you have done. Everything that you have accomplished and how you, as an individual, has made the world a better place with your actions. How you have touched the hearts of so many along your path. How you have gathered your army of soldiers to fight along your side and make the world united once again.
This is your moment to shine and endure all the fruits of your labor. Stand proud and be happy. For you have done what you set out to do. You are a force of nature that is to be reckoned with. You are strong within and without. Your aura is a beautiful rainbow of colors. You chi is stronger than it has ever been and you have renewed a powerful love across the world.
This next poem is entitled “Endure”. This one is for you. For your courage and strength. For your accomplishments and your battles won. I hope you enjoy it.

“Endure”
You’ve seen the battles. You’ve won the war.
The time has come for you to endure.
You will not fail. Success is near.
No doubt to feel. Not a single tear.
You will never say, it can’t be done.
For life is to short, for doubting toms.
You’ve open the door to your success.
Your life’s complete. You’ve done your best.
So stand up proud. You’ve done so great.
No more to fear or show up late.
Your hope is strong. Your faith unbound.
Your love is timeless. Your vision been found.
Your scars have healed your strength has grown.
Your mind is set free and you’ve achieved your goals.
You’ve made this world a better place to live.
You’ve given your all that you had to give.
Because of you another has seen the light.
And now they stand beside you in the fight.
You’ve stepped it up and done your part.
You’ve touched so many other hearts.
You’ve seen the battles. You’ve won the war.
The time has come for you to endure.

Those words in your first poem stands out as a golden ray of sunshine. It reverberates in my head.
The last poem: thank you. One becomes a doubting tom if no-one ever tells you that you have done well. And I did. I do. I will always do. I firmly believe that the tiniest good that one person does, has a ripple effect that touches those near you, ripples further to your surroundings, your country, the world, the universe. All is not lost if we keep on working towards the good.

This is a wonderful collection of poems, they are all very inspiring. I particularly like "Within" as it's harder for me to connect to soldier or war analogies... I still appreciate them and their rhythm is good, but I like the idea of building over fighting, or maybe I'm looking at it wrong...
"Within", however, repeatedly emphasizes the value of every "one" (one day, one tree, one person) as an ancient power; every one atom adds up but there must be ones, not zeroes to add up in the first place. Very spiritual; thank you for sharing!

Beautifully written my friend. I enjoyed reading all of the poems.
It is true that we as individuals and as the people, can and will change this place into a free and sustainable one. We have a power within ourselves to share it with the community to grow together and be more powerful as ever.
This is a lyrics of a song by Damian Marley and Nas, it really resonates every time I hear it. It got a deeper meaning and it really tells u about the power within us and that we can easily change the world if we come together.
Every time I read post like these, this quote comes to my mind. It says a lot about the basics of the nature of a human. It is in our DNA that when we work together we achieve great things. More to that we achieve them with less time, which brings value to another level.
My favorite poem here is ''Within''. The idea behind it is marvelous and you brought it to us so vividly. The simple things can turn into life-changing things, isn't that beautiful? The wholeness is compiled of small details, but when those details come together, they change the future.

Lovely photos! My favorite is "Another Soldier" it is very meaningful. It shows the love between different races and animals. A moment of love and peace where nothing else matters, other than joy.

I don't know about your government, but mine has thwarted efforts of many strong youths, weakened their strong willed mind and heading to shatter their long desired dreams. This is happening and we cannot help it.
The strength withing is a powerful force. When joined together with the rest, could be unimaginably powerful to make a change with lasting effects BUT when the government that controls the system is not able to provide adequate platform for you to exercise your strength as a human force, failure becomes almost inevitable. Yet rising above this failure makes you exceptionally strong.

I do agree that they have much power but, only because we delegate this power to them by the vote. You are also right that the power within us all is a powerful force. It is so true, we are all gifted with an inborn strength and power to succeed in life. But why people fail is because they refuse to rise up when they experience a fall..A fall is simply a steping stone towards acheiving great result and success in life..Nice poetry @adsactly..
