Retro-
They say life's better in retrospect
But I don't and I wish I could go back
And do everything from the start
And travel on a different path
These retroactive words I say
Have already been said by yesterday
I'm floating on a cloud of love
But why does everyone push and shove
Fate has sentenced me to here
So that can not be what I fear
Well I'm not sure what it could be
From this retrocloud I can not see
Well I can not see a thing for me
Then I'll stay here and enjoy the view
There's nothing old it's always new
We sometimes like old memories
We like the good old feelings we know
We can have the old if we please
But there's always a new place to go
Still life knows some searing burns
With all these endless retroturns
We'll be facing forward in the end
Ready to go around the next bend
In retrospect it was a blast
Too bad it all went by so fast
