I love finding new under-valued Steemians and this contest is a great excuse to find fabulous bloggers whose post aren't getting the attention they deserve. In case you aren't aware, the Pay It Forward Curation Contest is a weekly challenge from @pifc to find bloggers to promote.
If you want to know some of the things I look for when curating for Pay-it-Forward, please check out this article on How to Get Curated.
Here are this week's selections - reputation 55 or under.
Selection #1 - @aloha-creations (rep 54)
DIY. Polymer clay stitch earrings
I've been following this blogger for ages, so I was really surprised when I realized I haven't featured her before! She does such awesome jewelry and this is one example.
Not only does she show us her great creations, but she shows us how she makes them, step-by-step. I'm going to try to get my kids to follow her example...
At the time of posting, this post had an expected value of 0.47 STU.
Selection #2 - @dvotravels (rep 37)
David who?! Thats right! I am David, traveler from Switzerland
Here's a great intro post from a traveler who is taking a trip from Argentina to San Francisco and plans to share his amazing photography along the way.
So far, from the pictures already on his blog, I think we're in for a real treat!
At the time of posting, this post was valued at 0.67 STU.
Flash-Back of the Week
This has proven fun - and is not meant to be part of the contest, just a fun extra. This week, I look back at:
Week 8 - @zanoni (now rep 60)
Tom was one of the first people I met on Steem and was very friendly from the outset. He took a break from Steem for awhile, but I'm pleased that he's back and blogging daily. This time, he's shared with us one of his fitness challenge videos.
These are my selections for this week. Please visit them and give them some love - even if you don't have voting power to spare, a kind word can make all the difference!
Note: All images remain property of the original poster. I've only used their locations.
(Please consider entering this contest! If you no longer want to be tagged, let me know and I'll take the @ sign off it. People in bold have been active within the past month.* Designates someone involved with PIFC within the past month.)
Running totals: 58 out of 102 featured bloggers are still active = 56% (updated through week 45)
My personal observations - if you want to stay in the game...
- Don't restrict yourself to a particular niche - contrary to standard blog advice.
- Get involved in at least one community on Discord. Below are three of the communities I'm involved in right now.
- Support others, engage, meet people.
