More Trees Please
Tree's are such an important part of our environment, they are always eating up carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. We need clean air, of which I can say we have some of the best air quality in the United States right here in Sedona Arizona USA. That's because of the massive ponderosa pine forest's that sit above Sedona and surrounding areas.
Sedona is surrounded by the Coconino National Forest which mainly consist's of Juniper and Pinion Pine, evergreen trees. The tall tree on the left in the image above is a Pinion Pine and it's a beautiful tree especially when combined with a rainbow near sunset.
The beauty of the tree is all around us. Just go outside and look!
Green trees, blue skies and big white cumulonimbus clouds look so nice together.
There's a lightning caused forest fire burning north of town up on the plateau. Nature is doing its job by clearing the dead fuels and rejuvenating new forest growth.
It's wonderful to have such an abundance of trees all around they even grow out of cracks in the rocks on the side of sheer stone faces and cliffs.
After receiving decent amounts of rain the trees seem to come alive showing off rich green colors which are a big part of the amazing color palette we see here in Sedona.
Enjoy the wonderful world of trees!
Great story telling and photography! Your choice of words and imagery were great. Very poetic and also mixed with prose which is a style of writing I tend to resonate with and work on myself. To mix the science with the magic in your words I think is a great skill! Nice work and thanks for sharing your thoughts and artistic talent with us!
Thanks for the amazing compliment, at times I struggle with word formulation but with all this practice it's getting much easier and a lot more fun. I enjoy the challenge and creativity.
You're welcome. I think we all struggle with word formulation even the people who do it for a living, but yes.. The practice helps a lot and I think it's fun as well! That struggle is part of that equation I think as things tend to be more rewarding the more you work for them, which I'm sure you understand pretty well based on how much you've worked for things in your life. Congrats on winning the contest by the way and the nice upvote! :)
