Do you recycle plastic

There is a lot of plastic in our lives. It is a burden but we do not seem to be able to live without it any longer.
To me it is a kind of burden and I try to recycle it or use it again and make something new out of it.

I have been knitten a handbag

for example, out off pieces of old plastic bags. This bag is black and white. Face: Jack Skelkington (Tim Burton's film: The Nightmare before Christmas).
I also have been knitten a black dog for my son who has seriously allergies.

Lately I made a fly curtain out off the plastic dogfood bags. It only did cost my time and it was easy to make (2 more comming up if as soon as more bags are available. One will be for my neighbour. She loves it.).

What do you do with all that plastic?

Do you try to buy less plastic? Less products wrapped in plastic? Just separate you garbish isn't good enough to make that huge mountain smaller. Mother Nature has a hard time to digest it all.
