Photo of the day 8

This is a picture of Lake Waikerimoana, on the east coast of the North Island in New Zealand.

I took this photo, not just because the view was fantastic, but because it was about half way up Panikere Bluff (5 hours uphill all the way!).

I wasn't stopping to rest, Oh no!. I was stopping (for half an hour) to take a photo. The very photo you see before you.

I have some other photos taken from the very top looking out over the lake. But I'll upload them some other time.

Interestingly, I've done this climb twice, which just goes to show that I am indeed a slow learner.
