my (not so) boring photos

Sometimes you come across a perfect photo, just sitting there waiting for you to frame it. Other times, you need to work a bit.
One of my friends posted a photo for the boring photo contest by @saywha, and it looked fun, so i stole the idea, which is to post a photo(s)? of a mundane item - not a beautiful thing, just something common- and make it appear incredible.

I take photos. Mostly they are crap. Sometimes I get lucky.

This post is about showing a few random lucky shots, and the process i went through to turn them into something abstract or imaginative.

I think the trick to taking ordinary things and making them seem unusual is finding them in a place where they aren't normally found and closing in on them.

Or finding them in normal places and finding that aspect of them that appears fantastic in the right frame or light.

Photography allows you to do that. To enhance details that escape the naked eye.

To filter colors, put other details out of focus to draw attention to the one thing you wish to be seen, to intensify the drama with depth, contrast or perception.

Perhaps a good photo is falling in love with your subject and seeing the beauty where others see only waste, and in creating your view allow others to see as you do.

Those turned out great. The reflection in the trash can is especially cool- I see two people, one watching the other walk away.
yep its great because of the abstract qualities. its a whole genre of photography that not many people get, just like art.
