Exploring the abandoned Elisabeth Sanatorium

in #photography7 years ago

Today I share some pictures of an abandoned hospital I visited recently. Enjoy the pictures I took.
It was an adventurous expedition to past times, this time also @yoganarchista was with me.

Thank you for reading. If you like it, also check out my other galleries:

It was a nice excursion :D To bad I forgot my sd-card :D Your photographs are really awesome ^^

At least you could join this time, which was really nice. Next time also with SD-Card! Step by step :p

I'm lookin' forward to it :)

Buildings like this fascinate me and sadden me at the same time.
Beautiful photos.

Thank you! :)
Why do they sadden you?

Ah, it seems such a waste. I illogicalaly attach emotions to old buildings, cars, machinery, stuff that once had a purpose.

To see a building fall into ruin is sad because it ends up looking so unloved. I have bought old run down houses to live in and repair. The difference a bit of tlc and paint does is transformational!

I know it makes no sense but we don't need everything to make sense!

Thats true, too much sense makes no sense :p

Often this buildings still are filled with life- in a different way then before of course. People starting doing art inside or just filling the rooms with their imagination..

Nice Garden ;)
