Abandoned concentration camp bakery

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

I went with a friend to an abandoned concentration camp bakery in Germany. Here are the photos I took.

The bakery was build in 1939.
80 concentration camp prisoners had to bake 43 000 breads per day.
After the war the bakery was used by the DDR until the fall of the wall.

For more information, I can advice you to read this article:

We also found old german newspapers from around 1990. Especially one catched or attention, because we suddenly read the name of Donald Trump. It is about the 200-million-ollar lawsuit of an indian men, who said Trump stole the name of his restaurant "Taj Mahal" for his new casino. The indian men lost the trial. Looks like nothing changed in 27 years- still bad news about Trump.

I allready posted some of this pictures before, but because of a mistake a lot pictures were missing, this is full gallery.
This is the old uncomplete post: https://steemit.com/photography/@sature/impressions-of-an-abandoned-ss-bakery-including-an-old-newspaper-mentioning-trump

Thank you Michael :)

Very haunting images. Those are the types of photos that work better in black and white. Great job!
