Squirrel Olympic Games!
At first we had the tree jump number. The game had 2 entrants!
A happy Friday to all and this morning we attended the squirrel Olympic games in the garden.
Let's have a look at these great athletes!
This was the roof jump event!
Here we had the high speed tree trunk circling event!
This was the leap over two guinea fowls event!
He jumped over the two birds, but was too fast for my camera!
But I will get him another time!
Here is the other one in the tree jump number!
The hide and seek number have her sitting quietly below the roof!
This is the tail hanging event!
And finally, the roof high speed sprint event!
Here is the winner on the podium with his reward!

I especially like the tree jumpers! I cannot believe you caught them with your camera. You are a man of patience or you have very active squirrels or perhaps a little bit of both.
You have a real wit about putting quotes on your shots. :)
Mother Nature and you are in cahoots, no doubt. They do look like rather young and if this is their way of courting, God Bless them. They had me tired out!

I am engaged to mother nature and I am pleading with her to tell the squirrels to jump at my count of 3, so that I can sit down and rest my weary legs.
The courting thought also occurred to me and in this case I am so glad that I am not a squirrel. You can simply not believe the blurring speeds that they reach chasing each other around a large tree trunk.
I am still the same old amateur photographer Lady Denise, but thank you for the complement!

Hahahahahahahah... I so needed that laugh this morning! Thank you!!! So funny but also cute. They can do a bit of damage to the interior of a home if they decide to nest in the attic. We have a home or two catch fire here in NJ every year due to the grey squirrels. Hope they aren't getting into your house :-O

The thing is this house where we rent is 100 years old and declared as a Heritage House.
The squirrels have lived in this roof for generations.
It thank that due to the ceilings being made of the old style (solid wooden planks) they have not yet found a way inside the house. Sad thing is that we will not be here for much longer, as our rental contract expires at the 1st of June!
As missionaries, we cannot afford big amounts for rental and consequently we end up in many cheap and interesting places.
