PRAIRIE LIZARDS ALL OVER THE PLACE - ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHY
I love these lizards!
This was actually the first species of lizard that I saw in the Ozarks, when we first stopped in to visit @bluerthangreen and @allforthegood. I thought it was so cool that they had these little lizards running around all over the place. Back in Wisconsin, lizards were often few, and far between
Now that we've moved down, we get the pleasure of seeing these creatures running all over the place too. From the littlest of the @little-peppers right on up to me, we all enjoy seeing these guys around. Here are some recent photos of a couple. Enjoy!

These guys are Tiny! Take too many to make lizard stew, ROFLOL! So I guess they are safe, and pretty cute too!

🤢🤮 cancer. I think my great aunt did it best. After a long beautiful life at i think 95 Auntie Flo drifted off to eternal sleep while sitting in her favourite chair watching a Blue Jay's game. Her favourite sport. While baseball isn't for me, falling asleep and never waking up would be a nice alternative way to go. Same thing happened to my great-uncle on the other side of the family, 10 days after his beloved suddenly passed at 87, he went to bed and did not wake-up. Then there's car accidents, one tried to take me summer 2017 w/o luck 😛 but one did take my dad too young in 2002. Could these critters actually take your life? Or do you know and have antidote at the ready? Much love & respect @papa-pepper ❤
Stunning photos of these beautiful beautiful lizards. They are very similar to ones we have in Costa Rica. I must get some photos of my Spainsih ones too to share as there are a few different ones around my homestead here. I wonder if that is a pregnant female in your first photo?

Well, there are two venomous species, and some do have terrible bites, but these guys are harmless and fun.
They are too cute! Reminds me a little of a chameleon and sadly we hardly ever see those around anymore. When I was little there were so many. I liked to fancy them as my pets and walk around with them on my shoulder haha!
I can't imagine seeing wild Chameleons! That would be amazing!
They are the CUTEST things!!!!! Really sad that they are so scarce now...
We love little lizard around here. The more the merrier and we have several types too!
