I'm going to have to take a look at that new camera - I have heard it mentioned a few times now. How can something so lifeless be so beautiful? Great shot!!!
Great shot! The detail at the edge of Earth's shadow really makes it stand out! The full Moon on the other hand often looks flat and washed out due to the lack of shadows. Again, well done!
Thanks! Just wanted to point out though that the dark part of the moon isn't the Earth's shadow; it's just the half of the moon that's not facing the sun.
The camera is a Nikon P900. It has a non-interchangeable lens with a focal length equivalent to 24-2000mm. I've tagged all the photos I've taken with the camera with p900 so you can see other examples by clicking here.
This photo was not just an attempt, it was a success! Stunning clarity and detail. I think I can see the astronauts' footprints on the surface!

Excellent photo, I will feature this in my "today in the spotlight" segment on today's post!
Thank you!
Wow, you nailed it there!

Of course you're right, not sure what I was thinking, I'll blame it on being tired. :P

Great shot! What lens did you use?

2000mm! that would explain those good moon shots. Congrats on the camera.
