Ciao a tutti,

Hello everyone,

Martano is a town in the province of Lecce, in the southern Italian region of Puglia. It is located in the Salento it's part of the so-called Grecia Salentina, an area ellenofona which speaks an ancient language of Greek origin, the griko.

The origins of Martano date back to prehistory as contemplated by the presence of megalithic monuments such as the Specchia dei Mori (in griko secla demonìu tu) and the menhir of Theophilus, representing the menhir highest in the region. These monuments were places of worship of the populations Japigee.

After the fall of the Western Roman Empire the town was inhabited by settlers coming from the east and from 476 fell under the dominion of the greeks that influenced the history of Martano for over five centuries.
In 1190, during the norman period, Tancredi d'Altavilla granted the fief to Giorgio Rome to which succeeded Riccardo de Martano in 1269, Goffredo de castles in 1300 and Rinaldo de Hugot. From 1545 it became a fief of the bucally, in 1591 the De' Monti, in 1698 the Marquis, in 1742 of Brunossi, and finally in 1748 was bought by Gadelata that were the last feudal lords.

Once Martano used to be a fortified burg. The local lords had built high walls to protect the village from Turkish incursions. The village changed over the centuries, now there are no fortified walls and visitors are welcomed to discover the beautiful places of the village through its streets and alleys, admiring the historic Palaces and the baroque Churches.
The past of the village is still preserved by the Baronial Palace, once an Aragonese castle, and imposing and massive building of great elegance. Outside the village, on the road to Borgagne, there is the Monastery of Our Lady of Consolation, surrounded by the quietness of century-old olive trees, with its small Baroque church and the museum dedicated to the local painter Giulio Pagliano.

The most important sacred buildings are the Matrix church dedicated to the Assumption, the Patron saint, the chapel of the Carmine (XVIII), the Church and Convent of Saint Dominic, the chapel of the Immacolata (XVII sec.) and the Church of Madonnella.

Thing to see: The Historic Centre, the Baronial Palace, the Monastery of Our Lady of Consolation, the Matrix church of the Assumption, the chapel of the Carmine, the Church and Convent of Saint Dominic, the chapel of the Immacolata, the Church of Madonnella, the Casale di Apigliano.

Happy start to the week, I like the photograph of The Matrix church of the Assumption because it looks like the Egyptian statues. I had not seen such a statue in a church, usually saints and biblical characters. That photograph caught my attention.

The picture that can be painted with color of human imagination seems to be more natural. The painting is no longer in color and color. Photography is also limited to camera frames. Like technology and rich imagination of human imagination.

Superb

There is a future in everything provided you work hard for it. It’s not that any other profession will make you successful without working hard. If someone wants to achieve success, then he or she has to work hard. There is no other way . A lot of people earn a serious amount of money shooting. Specially in the commercial space. Product photography, fashion, wedding and other genres. Nature and wildlife is kind of a more niche thing and you need to be experienced enough and work hard to make it in this genre. But it’s not impossible. If it was, people wouldn’t have made money shooting wildlife .Being successful and having a future is tough, be it any profession.Earning money has become easier with the evolution of the Internet but again competition has also increased. So you have to be really good at what you do, market yourself and also work hard on your skills.
