This is the map for somewhere I've honestly wanted to go for a really long time, Parque Papagayo here in the center of the city of Acapulco. It's essentially the central park of Acapulco and I honestly can't believe it's taken us more than two years of living here to visit. Much of the grounds of the place is actually totally free to walk through and today we did just that.

This is a screenshot of the google map image that shows the perimeter of the place. It's absolutely huge.

There was a tap dance class going on in this outdoor auditorium. This place is part event hall, botanical garden, zoo, water park and honestly its an amusement park too.

It was filled with man-made lakes and ponds that were nothing short of awesome.

One could make a post of the cats of papagayo. Maybe that'll be me eventually.

The place was filled with giant iguanas, it was awesome!

This was a cute staircase going to the second level of the building that there were yoga classes being held in.

Have I ever mentioned I have both a love for turtles and lizards. Eventually I'll own a property where I can have both!
