Seeing double w/ Bailie!
Good morning, Steemit! Starting my day off with a blog post after ending last night with one, all after Steemit.com was offline for a couple days. Making up for lost time, I guess. The first Wednesday of every month, I attend a meeting with the Minneapolis Green Zone Task Force. It’s a racial and environmental justice committee appointed by city council members of the five wards. Tonight, @guthrie will be coming with me while @vermillionfox is working. Most of my afternoon will be doing chores around the house like folding laundry and cutting the grass.
The silver lining to Steemit.com being down for a couple days is that I was able to get ahead on edits […in relationship to blog posts, at least]. I have a few banked, and on a day that’s filled with errands and household responsibilities, it’s nice that I can make a post with photos that are already done. The new workl I wanted to share this morning is with a Minneapolis based alt model named Bailie. We shot together during the Spring, right after I returned from Viva Las Vegas. After all the summer travel, I loved having the chance to come back to this shoot.
We actually shot in our home. Over the last few years, @vermillionfox and I have invested in our furniture and decor, slowly turning the house in to a dark pinup studio location. It’s convenient because the look we aspire to for shoots is our personal home esthetic. Dead flowers, antique frames, candelabras, reflective brass and warm light. Bailie was such a perfect fit for the mood of our home. She took perfect direction and knew her body and presence in front of the camera, which made my job so easy.
This is still the first set of images with Bailie so in the next few weeks, now that I’m home for the year, there will certainly be more to come. I’m going to take an hour for myself now to continue to read American Gods on my Kindle, then get up and start the work that needs to be done today. @ghostfish, @bryanpolitee and myself are meeting up Sunday for @coppercoins work, so I have to make time for the horror anthology pages before picking @guthrie up from school. You finished the housework! As @meesterboom said Steemit gave us a few days off lol. But it's good that we have returned to normal :). So we will see more photographs :).
About the Minneapolis Green Zone, It's in the middle of all the buildings and the rest of the city, isn't it? Nature is important, we must take care of it and find a way to counteract the damage we cause during all past years.
She is very cute and sexy! ---- When I saw the first photo I remembered a drawing that I want to do, something similar but it was a window, I did many tests to see what the reflection would look like so I spent many hours in front of the mirror lol ------ . The second photo is my favorite looks beautiful. Your house is perfect for photos I remember many photos there.
