Köpenicker street in the city of Berlin was famous for having many places for underground and independent parties. These places have also been, for many years, the canvases preferred by many graffiti street artists. But now all that is changing.

Thanks to a Berlin government project called MediaSpree, many of these old places are being replaced by new business and residential buildings. The idea is the gentrification of Berlin to make it the next "Silicon Valley" or at least, so have begun to call the city for some time in the media.

Well, yesterday, in the midst of all those new constructions in the street Köpenicker, I realized that they had left without removing some of the most important graffities. It is part of the way they are doing the gentrification, they sell the "street art of Berlin" along with the new homes. But since you never really know how long they can last, I take the opportunity to pick up all that street art in photographs.

They are many photos so I decided to separate this entry in two publications. This is the first.
