If I am not very wrong, then this would actually have to be a Mycena pura, commonly known as Lilac Bonnet, that is poisonous, and therefore not edible. Unfortunately, the fungus is already pretty dry, so the determination has been somewhat difficult. | Wenn ich mich nicht sehr täusche, dann müsste dies tatsächlich ein Gemeiner Rettich-Helmling sein, der giftig, und daher nicht genießbar ist. Leider ist der Pilz schon ziemlich vertrocknet, so dass die Bestimmung etwas schwierig gewesen ist. |

Habe ich bis heuer noch nicht gekannt - zumindest nicht den Namen des Pilzes ;)
Bei Pilzen bin ich immer sehr vorsichtig und nehme nur solche mit, die ich schon seit meiner Kindheit kenne ... im Allgemeinen bin ich aber ziemlich pilzblind und muss schon über einen stolpern, um ihn (dann) zu sehen ;)
Ich stolpere aber auch nur über die Eierschwammerln;)
Ich habe eine Nichte, die kennt die besten Plätze für Eierschwammerln, hält sie aber geheim. Dafür bekommen wir aber immer genug für uns und brauchen nicht selbst suchen zu gehen ;)
Na besser geht's ja gar nicht, oder;)
Nein, und das Beste ist, dass wir sie schon geputzt bekommen - zumindest meistens ;)

Some mycena are edible but they taste bad, many others are slightly toxic and give you a bad stomache ache.

I'm always very careful with mushrooms and really eat only those that I know from childhood already.

no, no. I cant say that. but we have this chat a while... and I watched the pics in his blog, with the shrooms cooked... he is still alive, thats it! :P pretty good proof, no? (seriously: @sketch.and.jam identifies them pretty well. even some weird ones! and I prefer exectly the weird ones... in the frame, not in the soup, of course )

OK, that explains a lot, and now I know, whom to ask, if I find a mushroom, which I cannot identify :)
I do know only a few mushrooms, and when we go into the woods to search for them, then I am usually the one, who does not find any, because I am somehow mushroom-blind ;)

Nobody photographs with a Canon EOS R here? The camera is quite new, but I think, a lot of Steemians use it. They just don't tell this in their posts ;)
