CityTrip Snapshot - The Ritz, Madrid
The Ritz, Madrid 2017
I tell you what, this was a crazy hot day in Spain.. Welcome to my first review post!! I went with my amazing wife to review some places in Madrid and a 5 star hotel in the countryside. Post to come on that one.
I want to format some of my trips with a quick snapshot of one or two places, rather than a long post with too much to digest, however i might play about with the formats to see what you guys like. So without further ado, The Ritz in Madrid. Upon getting there you always get the smart doorman in a top hat welcoming you, always smiling those guys. Getting through the door you enter the lobby which looks just amazing. And shiny..

We got a quick tour of the inside, but before long we got taken through a room to the rear of the hotel, then heading outside where we would have some food and cava! Can't help but always admire the ceilings..
)
This is the first view of the outside, from our table, as i said at the beginning of the post.. Crazy hot day and i'm in a shirt :\ so they'd actually let me in in the first place..

We had some light snacks to start before tapas!
)
After the tapas, it was time for dessert and we needed that ice-cream..
)
Later in the evening there was a piano on the level above where we were sitting, quite relaxing!
)
As night fell slowly, everything lit up (before the lightening came along)

A great place to visit i think, whilst in Madrid, everyone is super friendly and the garden area is calm, with tiny birds flying around everywhere simply after your food.. Hope you enjoyed!
