Khanpur Canal - A perfect place to visit with your loved ones.
Khanpur Canal is a very famous Place, it is located on Lahore Road, Pakistan. Underground water resources of this canal has very fresh and healthy water to drink. This canal is a picnic and refreshment place for families. People come here in the evening with their families and friends to enjoy the beautiful view and fresh air. This place is famous for tasty fish, fried snacks and ice cream. Khanpur is also dangerous place to swim due to its fast water flow. Many youngster have died here while swimming. Now a days it is banned to Swim in the Canal, because incidents were increasing day by day. I was visiting a friend and this canal is near to his home so I thought I must take some pictures and share it with my Steemians fellows.
Me and my friend was Hungry so we ate fried snacks and we enjoyed it very much.

This is an interesting place. i wish I can be there to do street photography. Looking forward to see more photo about the people there too
Nice photos as it shows what you describe. The tasty snacks look tasty too. I can understand why they banned swimming. To children a stretch of water looks really inviting, but if there are hidden currents or something else, it's bestthey just look. Tough on the kids, but life saving. Good that locals have somewhere cool and peaceful to visit.
