Some Exciting Updates For Gringalicious + Some "Sappy" News for 2018
In case you're unfamiliar with the word "sappy", well it's an English slang that we use when something is both sad AND happy at the same time. That's because I'm so excited to tell you guys about something I received for Christmas.
So I'm sort of known for my red camera, and it's been my baby and bff since the first shot I took with it. However, now that I've really fallen in love with photography I think @noboxes wanted me to get to try using an updated version!
I hope my good old red doesn't feel too neglected
I'm sure I'll still be using it as my main utility camera because I'll want to be a lot more careful with the new one. So meet my new camera ->>>>>>
It's a Nikon d750 and I must say it has a lot of fancy buttons and settings. Haha, I thing I can feel pretty confident in food photography after years of practice, but TBH guys, I'm pretty amature at life photography. It's a different category altogether so I'm excited to spend 2018 improving my skills at it.
Which brings me to my other big news..........
In case you missed my post asking what you all wanted to see from me this next year 2018 Reader Poll! What Do You Want To See From Gringalicious Next Year?, Well the clear top votes were for more food posts and secondly more travel posts. So to start off my "TRAVELICIOUS" posts for this next year I'll be going to Southern California in a few weeks with my travel buddy and sister @fullofhope!!!!!!! We're SOOOO looking forward to it and I can't wait to share it with all of you.
Oh, and getting a new camera also means I'll need to design a new signature photo because this one is getting pretty outdated isn't it? ->

ALL CONTENT IS MINE AND ORIGINAL! All of these food photos were taken with my Nikon D5300 and my favorite Lens, the Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G. You can find out more in my INTRO POST.

Congratulations ... a new camera is always something exciting for us photographers ... I wish you a lot of fun and enjoyment with your new camera.
But I think this red camera will always be part of you.
We also have three cameras in the number, with various lenses.
But I also believe, no matter how old the camera is, the main thing is that the chemistry, or as some say love, between camera and photographer must vote, because only then come convincing photos.

Small cameras are really good and have their place for sure. A great comment that @timsaid mentioned a a workshop he did at steemfest, the best camera always is the one you have. I agree with that.
I hope your holiday is going splendid as well. We actually have a flu-virus going through the family right now, so that's no fun, but we'll recover soon. I am sure we'll be talking before Monday, until then,...
