Feliz y bendecido día para todos, hoy quiero iniciar la semana con estas fotografías, de unas majestuosas rosas rojas. Les cuento, que las rosas son mis flore favoritas, no solo porque son sumamente hermosas, logrando en nosotros el efecto de permitirnos evocar, sentimientos romántico, de pasión, amo, amistad, o pureza, sino que además, son parte de mi esencia, ya que tengo la suerte, de que mi apellido materno es ROSAS, así que, como entenderán, soy una rosa por herencia familiar.
Happy and blessed day for all, today I want to start the week with these photographs, of majestic red roses. I tell you, roses are my favorite flowers, not only because they are extremely beautiful, achieving in us the effect of allowing us to evoke, romantic feelings, of passion, love, friendship, or purity, but also, they are part of my essence, since I have the luck, that my maternal surname is ROSES, so, as you will understand, I am a rose by family inheritance.
Hace algún tiempo, investigando un poco me enteré que las rosas, dependiendo del color que posean, trasmite un significado diferente, en el caso particular las rosas rojas, las cuales gracias a su increíble color y belleza, son quizás las más conocidas y populares a nivel mundial, asociándoseles principalmente con el amor y la pasión. Además descubrí, que son muchos los mitos y teorías, que existen en torno a estas hermosas flores, uno de ellos, es el relato que cuenta que un emperador llamado Claudio II, debido a que tenía la firme idea de que si los jóvenes no tenían vínculos familiares era más fácil que se alistaran en su ejército, decidió decretar una ley que prohibía a los jóvenes guerreros el casarse. Es por ello, que un sacerdote romano llamado Valentín, quien era ferviente defensor del amor y el matrimonio, secretamente casaba a las jóvenes parejas que acudían a él en busca de su ayuda. El emperador Claudio al enterarse, encarceló y condenó a muerte, al que hoy conocemos por San Valentín de Roma.

La leyenda también cuenta que Valentín mientras esperaba su sentencia, se enteró que el juez que lo había encarcelado tenía una hija ciega, noticia que le causó gran tristeza y dolor, por lo que a través de sus oraciones imploro a Dios, que le devolviera la vista a la joven. El 14 de febrero, día en que Valentín fue trasladado para su ejecución, logró entregarle una carta a la hija del juez y le pidió que la leyera, petición que la joven no lograba entender, dada su limitación visual, sin embargo la abrió, y para su sorpresa al abrirla, recobro la visión y pudo ver lo que estaba escrito en ella y era simplemente, “Tu Valentín”. Luego de eso, en honor al sacerdote que le había devuelto la visión, la joven decidió plantar un rosal de flores rojas.

Ahora, siempre deben recordar, que las rosas rojas no deben regalarse a familiares o amigos ya que podrían enviar un mensaje confuso. Al simbolizar el amor y la pasión las rosas rojas están reservadas para la pareja o persona que ocupa nuestro corazón.
Now, you should always remember, that red roses should not be given to relatives or friends as they could send a confusing message. By symbolizing love and passion, red roses are reserved for the couple or person who occupies our heart.
