Bromeliad Billbergia Pyramidalis
Hello Steenmians
Today I brought you my beautiful Bromeliad Billbergia Pyramidalis
This plant belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, is originally from Brazil, Cuba, French Guiana, Leweward Islands, Windward Islands and from my beautiful country Venezuela. It is characterized by being an ever-green herbaceous species, and possessing a rapid and easy growth, but also has a characteristic, which I particularly dislike and is that it is monocarpic, that is, fructifies only once and then dies, although it transcends through the children.
This bromeliad known scientifically as Billbergia pyramidalis owes its name to the Swedish botanist Gustave Billberg, since in his honor this family is named in particular of bromeliads and the term "pyramidalis" comes from the Latin meaning pyramidal, referring to the shape of the inflorescence.

Muy hermosa flor! Gran fotografía. Capturaste muy bien la variación de colores. A veces me cuesta obtener una buena fotografía cuando la flor contiene rosas brillantes. Maravillosamente hecho. Gracias por compartir.
Very beautiful flower! Great photography. You captured the variation of colors very nicely. Sometimes I struggle getting a good photograph when the flower contains bright pinks. Wonderfully done. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Mr. r2cornell, for the support and I'm glad you liked it.
And yes, it really cost me a lot to get that picture, as you say, it's hard to get the camera to focus well.

Saludos @jadnven.
