A walk through Central Park
You cannot visit New York and not take some time to have a wander through Central Park. You have to check out the bethesda fountain and the tunnelled archways, the various ponds and thousands of people who come and go doing what they do. You see all sorts, the people riding the horse drawn carriages, people on roller skates and boom boxes like its still the 80s.
You'll recognise these views probably from about 100 different movies. New York is after all one giant movie set!
You can rent a boat at the boat house and have a bit of a row about.. many people do this with their dates as a romantic gesture.. though it helps if you know how to row. I saw no less than three boats out there where the guy was rowing backwards. As someone who actually attended a school specifically to learn out to sail and row etc call it 'boatcraft; if you will, it was painful to watch.. but then I should criticise.. put on me on a motorbike and i'd probably sit on it with my ass facing the handlebars.
Central Park is huge, massive even. It covers more than 20 city blocks of new york. I don't know how much that is in actual distance but it sure is a lot! Even so, New York's skyscrapers still tower over you and you are reminded that you still in the middle of a metropolis.
This was my favourite bit though, coming back from bethesda fountain and heading back towards 5th avenue to get to the hotel, we encountered a couple doing a photoshoot. I assumed it was an engagement shoot though my GF thought it was commercial, that they weren't a real couple as they didn't seem very close between shots.. I disagree though.
I thought it would be fun to shoot the photographer shooting the couple while I had the chance. Also the the structure they were using i think is maybe a famous landmark or just a popular choice because I've seen it before in engagement shoots on instagram and such.
Also, I want to know what that harness is the photographer was wearing because it looked really handy. I rarely wander about with two camera bodies but it sure looks useful for when you are!
Thanks for Looking.

maybe one is the 24-70 and one is a fixed 50? or fixed 85?
something like that
I think you're right, a 24-70 and a fixed 85 is my guess.. that's the usually arsenal for a shoot like that :)
