MyPictureDay Submission | Traditional Fishing
Hi Dear Steemians,,,, Yesterday, on my way to one of the beaches in Aceh, I saw a young man cleaning fishing nets on the beach. Almost over, even when I arrived he was cleaning the fishing net, taking some of the fish he caught. Only a few photos I can take when he cleans the fishing net.
Traditional fishing is now rarely found. Fishing using nets stretching on the coastline like this is done on almost all beaches in the world, even in Aceh.
In general, local communities have perceptions of the environment through experience or knowledge inherited by their ancestors, namely how they have to adapt, manage, and utilize the environment.
The use of traditional fishing gear such as trawls and nets in Aceh is a form of concern for fishermen in Aceh regarding the maintenance of the marine environment.
