Your post reminded me to pay a visit to my brother and his family who lives in Trier. Also such a beautiful place to be! Living in Amsterdam, nature such as the area around the Mosel is so good to get to, so different to the western part of the Netherlands.
Amsterdam must be beautiful, too, though, but just in a different way I guess ... :)
