Thirty Years of These- How Lucky Was I?
So today is the day the family property gets listed, and while I realize it could take time- perhaps even a lot of time- before it sells, this is certainly the first step of farewell.
I could think of no better way to say it then with sunset photos, something Seneca Lake is revered for. It's not just the beautiful skies, it's the magnificent way the colors reflect off the water.

I still have one of your photos across tge water as tge screensaver on my laptop but I might have to update it. Some of tgr images,especislly in the previous two pists are absolutely stunning. Their beauty matched only by that of the photographer. :)

It is hard, though I will still have access to the lake via a path I made, it's all state park land to the right of their place :) So nice to hear from you! xx
Actually, I just posted an original yesterday that might resonate for you. I wrote it about that terrible bus accident with the hockey team that made international news - but it actually happened really close to where I live, so it's a local tragedy. But it's about grief, and I know your family has been through a lot in that arena in the last year. Anyway - I do hope you're well! Big smile your way.

Really Seneca Lake is a wonderful place. The sunset looks awesome and the colour reflect view really amazed me.....such a great shot you have captured.
