Great works, I wish you success

Thanks a lot :)

Hi, it looks an amazingly big place, can I ask why the people in the picture are wearing face masks? I remember reading somewhere that it is because of pollution is this true?

Sure, the pollution can be bad there. Some people like to wear the face masks. Hong Kong is better than some other Asian cities because of it's location near the sea.

that's crazy to have to wear face masks while out and about, We don't have that problem at the moment in the UK. I was thinking to my self after looking at your pictures would them face masks work? as they are the ones that doctors use to stop direct germ contact with patients.

They filter out the dust and crap in the air from vehicles, so I guess that they work. I'd say the air polution in London is pretty bad too, not as bad as Hong Kong though. The air quality in Bejing was absolutely terrble when I visited there, the worst smog that I've seen, it was difficult to breathe. It's a shame that China used to be one of the best amd most popular countries for cycling, then they become more industrialised and cars / vehicles ruin the cities and make the air unbreathable.. Same everywhere in the world I guess, China is just a bit more extreme.

It's crazy, you would think that the Chinese government would want to do something about it if people have to walk around with face masks on that would make me want to move from there. and live somewhere else

Like nearly any Government in the world they only care about their own backs and profits. Too much money coming in from America and other Western countries outsourcing our production and pollution that comes from it to China. That's what's fuelling the pollution, along with the boom in wealth that results from it, but like any country that industrialises, the side effects are terrible. We all need to wake up and turn to alternative energy, and get rid of our cars, I haven't owned a car in ten years now, and it's cheaper healthier, and better for the envirnoment.

not sure if i ever make it to Hong Kong , i go for the 5th image that is a very tall building , good thing you had a 16mm lens :) voted , followed and resteemed

Thanks for the resteem, vote and follow !! Was a 16-35 mm lens, it really comes in handy for architecture, especially tall buildings!!
