Gnome Road/Elf Lane in Red Feather (part 1)

My husbands birthday was this past Friday so for the weekend we went up to Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. We drove up there back in April when there was fresh snow for photography.

One of the roads ,where people could camp or where people owned cabins, was unable to drive down because of all the snow. So this past weekend was very sunny and nice out so Hunter and I went camping for his birthday. His family owns a cabin and were throwing a birthday party for his grandmother so we thought we'd stop by and say hi.

Gnome road, or Elf Lane as it says on the sign, is filled with little trinkets such as stuffed animals, garden gnomes and other cute things people leave to decorate the pathway. Some were broken. Some were made of glass or plastic.

It was interesting walking through, looking at all of the toys people left behind.

We also climbed a bunch of steep rocks

And got this view

I'm going to make this a part series. I took a lot of photos of the gnomes and other little things.
