Macro Photography Session | Rhino little tongues :P
Hi everyone
Back to another session of macro photography.
Today I present another small succulent rescued from the balcony.
These little rebels want dry environments full of sun and heat, as their characteristics make them very sturdy, however, the weather is damp and gray ...
When I first saw it I thought it was dying, already in a terminal state, but when I approached and looked through the lens, I could see that it is coming alive and in a process of renewal.
I don't know the name of the plant, but i decided to baptize her with the name "rhino tongue" just because it was the first thing that occurred to me when I saw the result of the photo shoot, and you're about to realize why ... it looks like a whole universe of little tongues covered by small intertwined threads that predict the rejuvenation of a new stage.
The contrast between the present brownish tones and the recent greens transfer a very interesting visual experience ...
Without more delays, let me present the model
My introductory thoughts about macro photography:
It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.
Before moving onto the result...
Feel free to check some of the previous macro photography sessions with a technique short description:

Here i present the technique used through a short visual tutorial:
Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.
Let's now move onto the result:

These photos weren't taken with a tripod, hence the unclear result.
