Macro Photography Session | Three different succulents together
Hi everyone
Back to another session of macro photography.
Today I found on my sister's balcony these 3 little wonders sharing the same vase.
3 small succulents, overall similar but different in their particularities, structures, contrasts ...
I confess that this session has done more work than usual because in addition to the usual framing, selection and a large number of breath holdings, I had to clean them with tweezers, because they were covered by dust particles.
I promise I was as delicate as possible :)
In macro photography, the main objective is the reproduction of details, the best scenarios being those with low sensitivity and very fine grain, thus allowing reproduction of details without loss of information in the photograph.
One of the best options to achieve this result will be not to abuse on ISO, but in this case I had to opt for an intermediate level of "800" since I am shooting indoors using an artificial light.
Without more delays, let me present the model
My introductory thoughts about macro photography:
It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.
Before moving onto the result...
Feel free to check some of the previous macro photography sessions with a technique short description:

Here i present the technique used through a short visual tutorial:
Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.
Let's now move onto the result:
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/40 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/45 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/35 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/55 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/40 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/50 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/55 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/50 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/45 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/45 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/35 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/40 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/50 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
F-stop: f/0 | Exposure time: 1/50 sec. | ISO speed: ISO 800
These photos weren't taken with a tripod, hence the unclear result.
