An attempt for an introduction
Hello there,
I'm Aphrodite, a total newbie in the Steem community and attempting a quick intro ...
I have to say that I was totally unaware of the existence of a social platform based on the philosophy of block chain technology. So, for me, all this is sooooo new and also seem quite complicated, at least for now!
Born in the summer of 78', I live and work in the center of Athens and my main hobby is photography - at least for the last 10 years.
However, before starting with photography I started experimenting with digital illustrations. Participated in various group exhibitions, also held a solo one and a selection of my illustrations were also published in other media.
I gradually stopped delving into the illustration world and my fascination for photography begun. Now I can say that I'm interested in the following categories: street, urban, nature, landscape, travel and .... portraits
For a long time, I was mainly producing black and white images but during the last period I'm actually excited with maintaining color.
The following images are just a quick selection of different themes but I will be gradually uploading themed posts of my travels and attempts to capture a glimpse of the world.

Hi from Estonia :) And I like also lot photography my user name is also in Instagram, what is same name @ foxkoit and there I have also lot black and white up. But last 3 years I use steemit 100% this have help me lot more then Facebook and Instagram did :)

The fact that your intro post includes a lot of pics taken by you, descriptions and that you speak a lot about yourself is great, that's the way to go on Steem if you want to get curated (get votes) from curation groups (people with some steem power who can give big votes). Quality over quantity :)
I see that you include some pictures of yourself, that's great to connect with your audience! One thing that makes your first post (or the subsequent ones) get a few more votes is if you include "proof of identity".
Check this post (don't pay attention to the language) and see the first image. If you do something similar, perhaps also including your username on the white paper that would work magic on your profile!
