Lost land of Pura Taman Ayun?

Walking around the grounds of Pura Taman Ayun, I got the feeling that a lost land or civilisation lay beyond the frangipani trees... like how Sleeping Beauty's castle was surrounded by a thorny forest...

Not the same, but I was reminded of that feeling when I looked at these photos again.

Almost... un-reachable...?!

This is not a black and white but a colour shot!
With an overcast but still bright sky, these appeared wonderfully in silhouette
Adding more mystery and a mythical touch to the scene

    It does look wonderfully mysterious! I really love that first picture. The tangle all of the trees seem to be protecting something!
