NHA TRANG - Vietnam's bustling Beach Metropolis [EN/DE]
Hey guys! Today I would like to tell you about a wonderful city you probably never heard of. I only became aware of Nha Trang myself because I noticed it as a bigger city on the map of Vietnam and I googled it. But already during the first days of my visit it became clear to me what a brilliant city it is. I quickly decided to extend my stay.
Hallo Leute! Heute möchte ich euch von einer traumhaften Stadt erzählen, von der ihr wahrscheinlich noch nie gehört habt. Ich selbst wurde nur auf Nha Trang aufmerksam, weil es mir als größere Stadt auf der Karte von Vietnam auffiel und ich mal danach googelte. Doch schon während der ersten Tage meines Besuchs wurde mir klar, um was für eine geniale Stadt es sich dabei handelt. Schnell beschloss ich, meinen Aufenthalt zu verlängern.
The highlight of Nha Trang is certainly the miles long, beautiful beach and the turquoise blue water. The city centre stretches along the beach. So no matter where you are, it is only a short walk to the sea.
Das Highlight von Nha Trang ist mit Sicherheit der kilometerlange, wunderschöne Strand und das türkisblaue Wasser. Das Stadtzentrum zieht sich den Strand entlang. Egal wo man sich befindet ist es also nur ein kurzer Spaziergang bis zum Meer.
The place is especially popular among Russian and Chinese tourists. This is also noticeable in the sheer endless number of hotels that stretch along the beach in the form of huge skyscrapers.
Beliebt ist der Ort vor allem bei russischen und chinesischen Touristen. Das merkt man auch an der schier endlosen Anzahl an Hotels, die sich in Form von riesigen Wolkenkratzern den Strand entlang ziehen.
Visitors interested in culture will not be disappointed by Nha Trang either. I visited the "Long Son Pagoda" and the "Ponagar Temple" and was very impressed by both buildings. Both have viewpoints from which one can admire the sunset very well.
Auch kulturell interessierte Besucher kommen in Nha Trang nicht zu kurz. Ich besuchte die „Long Son Pagoda“ und den „Ponagar Tempel“ und war von beiden Bauwerken sehr beeindruckt. Beide verfügen über Aussichtspunkte, von denen man sehr gut den Sonnenuntergang bewundern kann.
The city also has a huge amusement park, modern shopping malls and a vibrant nightlife to offer. I especially liked the sunrises on the beach, which I captured with my crystal ball.
Die Stadt hat auch einen riesigen Vergnügungspark, moderne Shopping Malls und ein ausgeprägtes Nachtleben zu bieten. Besonders gut gefielen mir die Sonnenaufgänge am Strand, die ich mit meiner Glaskugel einfing.
Of all the cities I have visited in Vietnam so far, Nha Trang has been the most comfortable place for me. However, I would like to mention that I generally feel comfortable in touristy cities. If you are looking for peace and quiet as well as lonely beaches, you should avoid the city. To all others I can highly recommend a visit!
Von allen Städten die ich bisher in Vietnam besucht habe, fühlte ich mich bisher in Nha Trang am wohlsten. Allerdings möchte ich anmerken, dass ich mich allgemein in touristischen Städten wohl fühle. Wer Ruhe und einsame Strände sucht, der sollte besser einen großen Bogen um die Stadt machen. Allen anderen kann ich einen Besuch nur wärmstens empfehlen!
