The magic ✨ of RAW 📸
While going through my Lightroom catalog from an epic trip my family and I took to Yellowstone National Park I stumbled upon some unedited RAW files. I thought you guys would get a kick out of seeing the before (unedited) and after (edited) image.
Here's the final edited image..
And the unedited image...
For the uninitiated, shooting RAW is a type of file format that is much like shooting a negative (for those of you that remember the film days). Once you import the images to your computer it looks flat and must be processed.
As for the backstory, we were driving to the hotel and in the rearview mirror I saw a freaking rainbow in my rear view mirror - so you know I had to pull over!
This 7 day long trip deserves a post on it's own. But it will take me several hours to put it together and I'm still trying to wrap up other monster posts. So be sure to follow and one day I'll take the time to write the lengthy post that this trip deserves!
Oh and just for fun here's the before and after in one shot...
