Teichalm is beautiful - EN/DE

Amongst other things we made a trip to the Teichalm last year. It is located about 30 km north-easterly from Graz.The Teichalm is a centerpiece of the styrian alps.

Letzten Sommer besuchten wir unter anderem die Teichalm. Die Teichalm liegt rund 30 km nordöstlich von Graz. Sie ist ein Kernstück des steirischen Almlandes.

One of the best known things about the Teichalm is the Teichalmsee. It is on a sea level of about 1200m. In the summer months you can hire paddleboats and in the winter you can do iceskating and Bavarian curling.

Eines der bekanntesten Dinge an der Teichalm ist der Teichalmsee. Er liegt auf ca. 1200 m Seehöhe. In den Sommermonaten kann man hier Tretboot fahren und im Winter Eislaufen oder Eisschießen.

All paths on the Teichalm are naturally. It makes fun to walk next to the grazing land and to cross them.

Alle Wege auf der Teichalm sind naturbelassen. Es macht richtig Spaß, neben den Weidegebieten zu wandern oder gar durch zu spazieren.

The Teichalm and its adjoined areas form the biggest connected low-alp grazing area of Europe. The area consist of green land in a large part, with a few cliffs and canyons. So, for nature lovers the Teichalm is an ideal place.

Die Teichalm und ihre angrenzenden Gebiete bilden das größte zusammenhängende Niedrigalm-Weidegebiet Europas. Die Gegend besteht zum Großteil aus Grünland, mit einigen Felswänden und Schluchten. Für Naturliebhaber also ein optimaler Ort.
