Why should you think that beauty,
which is the most precious thing in the world,
lies like a stone on the beach for the careless passer-by to pick up idly?
Beauty is something wonderful and strange
that the artist fashions out of the chaos of the world
in the torment of his soul.
And when he has made it, it is not given to all to know.
To recognize it
you must repeat the adventure of the artist.

These planters were so pretty with the sun bouncing off them. Thank you for your kind comments @emmamia. Also Mothers Day in Canada fyi is the second Sunday of May. I didn't realize there were different days around the world until you mentioned it was Mother's Day for you....I looked it up and was surprised.

That's what I thought!! We can celebrate together two times....which means we are really good moms. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Is it mother's day already? The time flies so fast. Mother's day is every day anyway :)
Beauty is subjective. Sometimes we need someone to point out what they see so that we can appreciate it too. The beauty we see is the beauty we wanted to see. Beauty comes in different forms and most are not readily and easily seen by the naked eye.
It's Mother's Day in Slovenia :) I just found out from @emmamia - that's where she's from. In Canada, where I live, Mother's Day is the 2nd Sunday in May.
Sometimes beauty can be objective - you know, the blinded by love kind :) But yes, it is truly subjective. My camera seems to see beauty better than I do. I'm always surprised when I upload photos from my camera.
Nice trio! The last two look pretty abstract, with nice color. I see you're back at the nursery :-)
Where else do you go when you've run out of inspiration? The middle pot is my favorite - I wouldn't buy it but I liked the way the light played on the triangles. The pot was all bronze but when the light hit it changed. Probably the type of glaze used.
It would be a nice one in the garden, then! The blue ones are nice, too, although the color could be tricky to work with.
I still need to figure out a garden spot for this summer. There's a heritage seed bank nearby, and I want to plant blue sweet corn, purple "green" beans, and the coolest pumpkins I can find.
Oh that's sound like fun! Heritage seeds....you have to try the tomatoes if you like them. Best ever. I've never eaten blue corn, but have decorated with it.....but I have had purple carrots and purple beans. They taste like the orange and green varieties but a bit more something. Pumpkins are amazing too!
