The nature of the Kuban is beautiful and diverse, the sea and the river, mountains and forests, but how to forget about the colors that surprisingly complement the sights of our region. So, right near the monument to Catherine II in Krasnodar stretches a whole sea of roses.
There are about 25 thousand different varieties of wonderful flowers, and this is not the limit. Their number is growing with each new season.
Rose is a true Queen among decorative flowers. It beckons us not only for its exquisite appearance, but also amazing flavors and a certain inaccessibility.
But these wonderful petals of floribunda roses always exude an unforgettable aroma. This variety was bred in the early XX century by crossing a tea rose with a polyanthus variety of luxurious plants.
Floribunda means "floriferous", it's true, their flowers are lush and they are easy to find among the other flowers.
The first to grow roses were the ancient Greeks. But the Romans had a real cult of this flower. They often used the rose petals in the food, making wine, and miraculous cosmetics.
The oldest variety of this plant is considered to be the Damascus Bush. But, and the best specialists in growing roses are known to the French, the Dutch are also called the leaders among the suppliers of these magnificent flowers.

Lovely flowers , tell me who does not love flowers around ..none.. I never knew flowers where used for cosmetics , I guess the Romans taught us that they are much more than pretty things to stay in our gardens .
