Wandering Along The Creek - Part II
(All photos taken by @paradigm42)
Here is the continuation of my wanderings of one of my favorite nature trails. This creek is very popular for kayaking. I have been meaning to bring my kayak here for a while now..
As the trail moves inward a bit away from the creek, you find pretty wildflowers like these Orange Day Lillies.
Because if the creek and highwater table here, it is very lush with a wide variety of plant life. Ferns carpet the ground here thanks to the overhanging trees filtering out some of the more intense sunlight .
These bamboo like reeds thrive here in this water rich environment. They line either side of the path making the trail seem almost jungle like for a short time.
The foliage in this area gets so thick you can't even see the creek several yards away. It's like being in another world.
Here is a peek through the forest of plant life at the creek the trail still quietly follows.
Another pretty example of the wildflowers you can find here.
(Sorry about the sideways photo, not sure why that happens when uploading sometimes..)
I hope you have enjoyed part II of my creek trail wanderings. I will post a third and final part in the near future.

@paradigm42 Thank you for not using bidbots on this post and also using the #nobidbot tag!
When I see these photos they remind me of one similar place. Alas, I can not show it now because I'm far away. However, when I looked at your message, I felt a sense of nostalgia :)
Thank you for your contribution to the Photocircle tag!
