A growing living thing, powered by humans from all walks of life. It breathes hope into many. It breeds hatred into others. Frustration has a place there, hiding in the coils.
It connects the world through tiny faucets. A glimpse into each and every one. Raw feelings, giving life, in ways that never would have been.
Built by few, manned by many, the circle grew and grew. Importance became the cause to see it through. It thrived in the world, making a statement that many still miss.
A growing living thing, powered by humans from all walks of life. It breathes hope into many. It breeds hatred into others. Frustration has a place there, hiding in the coils.
The call comes far and wide. A place of hope was born. A place of greed followed right beside this thing that could save the world.
Humans are many things, wet carpets come to mind when I think of some. The human need, to feel important, out weights any good I see. Walking into the tunnel. Lights near the end. Never getting closer. Trapped, overwhelming me.

The Gate Keepers watch and laugh. Humans suffer so. They need bread to live. They follow the rules, yet, are dismissed as inadequate. Evil rises, as it always does, to keep the balance of life. The few, the proud, the mighty, fight to keep it contained.
No rest for the good, the proud, the few.
They never stop the fight. Though some think they should.

It grows, shedding skin, exposing layers in us all. Gatekeepers whisper while juggling for the position. What matters who gets hurt? Their box has become stale. The same words, said over and over, have become The Truth.
Recent history repeats itself. News Anchors cannot deny they have become out of touch in the tiny world they made. They too had ceased to listen to the real people. Dismissing them as their right.

Here is the way, the truth, and the light. Let's all sit back while humans fuck it up. Here, before you, is a way we can feed the world. Give all humans a fighting chance to walk tall. Have hope for a better life. To feel like they matter in the grand scope of things. To feel what they are doing is furthering the cause for the good of the planet we all call home.
Divide and conquer has become the name of the game instead of all working as one. 'Come this way', said the blind man, 'there are riches for the taking. Free to you and me, if you sell your soul. Get in line, the water is fine, you will only feel a slight prick when you lose part of your soul'.

Apples have been eaten. There is no turning back. Humans can move forward once they find the right track. Unity is the key to all things. Unity on treating all humans like they have a voice. Unity in listening, caring, what each human has to say.
Until the time comes where humans, of any walk of life, respect the person next to them, no matter who they are, we will spend eternity fighting the same fight. The packaging might look different at first glance. Take a closer look. You will be amazed to see the same destructive attitude from the beginning of time.

Think long and hard about the choices you make. Are they for the better of one or the better of all? It's time to buckle up for the next corner in our wild ride of life.

I know YOU get it...but THIS is exactly what they miss. It's exactly what I tried to explain to people who had no desire to really hear. They only wanted to "rush through a quick explanation so they could scoff at it."

We see it. They miss it. And they're going to ruin it because they think they know it all. It's NOT about the money.
Money is a catalyst for exposing what's underneath. But what's underneath matters more. And if they honor that... Everyone can still win.
I suspect they don't care. I suspect they haven't ever. And for that reason, I suspect everyone will lose.
But maybe a new place will be born out of this @snook. You never know. Maybe a teeny little star was born, and its barely visible light would have gone unnoticed if not for all the darkness around.
Just like @thekittygirl shared Martin Luther King's quote... "only in the darkness can you see the stars."

For anything to happen. you need to provide an alternative environment.
Just a thought.
Without the alternative we can only do what we presently do.
Those that I have heard complain over the last 18 months. Still do nothing to bring about a change, always relying on someone who has more power to provide, Instead of coming together to ensure that provision is there for us all later.
I agree....but this was really just a freewrite that decided it needed to be written.
